Regulators Plan to Roll Out New Rules for Short-Term Rentals In Maine’s Unorganized Territories
From Maine Public Radio
State regulators are planning to roll out new rules for short-term rentals in unorganized territories of the State. These rules would require owners to register their properties with the Land Use Planning Commission and later only comply with parking, wastewater spoils, and other standards. The new registration requirements are expected to be finalized sometime in 2025.
For more information on the Land Use Planning Commission and short-term rentals, visit their website.
